Harvest Fest

All are invited to our community Harvest Festival! B.A.D. partners with the Hudson Valley Community Center to throw and event that brings the community together and gives back to children in our programs! Filled with 'Fall Themed' food, games, music, and activities this event is fun for everyone! This event also acts as a fundraiser for our after school program with a portion of ticket proceeds going directly towards academic materials and games!

Christmas Celebration

Our Christmas program is our biggest event of the year as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior! This event could not take place without the support from volunteers in our community, and we have been blessed with having an abundant amount of help the past three years. Each family who registers to attend the event fills out a wish list of the gifts that those in their family would like to receive. Through our "adopt-a-family" program we are able to share the love of Christ by pairing each family with a local sponsor. During the event we have a wonderful Christmas dinner served by volunteers, a time of singing and praise followed by a sermon on the real reason we have so much to celebrate at this time of year;

the birth of Jesus Christ!

Summer Kick-off BBQ

School is out for the summer and we are celebrating here at Born Again Disciples! On the last day of our after school program we have a BBQ to celebrate the end of a great school year and the start to a terrific summer. The hope of this event is that kids enrolled in the program can celebrate all they have accomplished this school year, and new families who are joining us for the summer can have time to meet those in the program and get excited for what's to come!

School Supplies Drive

The focus of our after school program is to ensure every child is "SET FOR SUCCESS". One obstacle many children face is not having the proper school supplies needed. We begin collecting school supplies donations at the end of the summer and pass them out to each child in our programs to make sure that EVERY CHILD can confidently walk into the first day of school

SET FOR SUCCESS.

Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving is the time of year to stop and give thanks for all God has provided. When we look at what the Lord has blessed this program with we cannot help but give thanks for the families and children that we have had the privilege to interact with. Our Thanksgiving dinner is a time for us to celebrate with the families of all the children who have been a part of our programs. During the event we have a delicious meal prepared by our chef and served by volunteers. Following dinner the children bless their families with a song that they spend time preparing during our after school program, and our dance team performs. The program concludes with a brief sermon from our founder Tom Morris.

Easter Breakfast

HE IS RISEN! HE IS RISEN INDEED!

On Easter weekend we make it a priority to have a time of fellowship with the children and families involved in our programs. During this event we start the morning with a fulfilling breakfast, songs performed by the children, a performance from our dance team, and a message on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ! We conclude by distributing Easter baskets to each child who attends.
